What's in your bag?
Yes and I constantly start a session by telling people I’m a little bit bossy. Guiding and directing a good clean photo is what I do! As mentioned before, I love to guide my clients and in those moments right before or after the “pose”…many times it's the best shot!! I love to find inspiration from different sources to have fun and unique photos and locations.
Do you direct us?
I am based just west of Viroqua, Wisconsin, but will pack my bags in a heartbeat! My passport and I are always ready for an adventure!
Where are you based & do you travel?
Sessions are typically 1-4 hours depending on the time of year, location, and other factors. Time varies upon what session and collection you choose.

I like to say that my style is raw, real, emotional, and fun. I say bend-the-rules-photojournalistic when describing wedding/portrait style. Photojournalism is defined as telling a story with photos, more as a documenting than posing. With no involvement, direction or control from the photographer. I’m capturing a moment as it happens without orchestrating it. Now enter “Bend-the-rules” term. As much as I love to document these beautiful moments where you are interacting with no guidance from me, some are actually my favorite from a session, I do tend to mix in poses and directed moments for those more traditional portraits.
What is this photojournalistic approach?
Girl....ABSOLUTELY! This is one of my favorite parts about planning for photos...putting the session together starts with getting to know your business, what you do and then incorporating that into your outfits. You'll receive an outfit guide, along with my amazing styling assistance with your session!
Do you help us with outfits?
YES!!! This isn't something that I always promote but I LOVE boudoir sessions. They are the perfect combination of beauty, photography, and home decor.

Do you shoot boudoir sessions?
Yes! You get to choose your photos from each package from an unedited proofing gallery. Once you make your selections, I fully edit and resend those chosen images.
If you can't choose just the included images in that package...you have the choice to upgrade to include all images in your gallery at an additional cost.
Do I get to choose the photos of each package? Is there an option to buy more?
I typically post sneak peeks on social media within a few days of your session. If you don't want them posted on social media, that is totally fine, too!
Your final edited gallery will be delivered within 30 days of your session.
When will we get our photos?
My client closet is full of pieces that you can borrow for your session with me. These are tried and true pieces that photograph well. I know that styling can be an expensive & stressful part of family photos, so my client closet will hopefully help. I'm always adding to the collection and have a broad selection of styles & sizes.
I also have a styling service, Style & Select, that is complimentary to every client. All you have to do is answer a few short questions about the individuals that are going to be photographed, including colors, style (boho, class, romantic). Style & Select will use these answers and give recommendations, & direct links to the products that suit your personal style and needs.
Many clients use Style & Select to use this as inspiration & find similar pieces on their own.
Can you explain what your client closet is?

You will be delivered the digital images with printing rights to print as you would like. I do give you the printing rights to specific labs, due to printing quality.
Like I said before, my ultimate goal is to provide you with the digitals but also have the option to purchase through my professional labs for gorgeous heirloom quality products that last a lifetime.
Do we print the photos ourselves?
Like I said above my goal is to give you access to purchase tangible, lasting keepsake and heirloom quality artwork — because your memories are meant to be displayed. All easily accessed through your online gallery.
